Gas Safe Information
Since April 2009 all work carried out on Gas Appliances must be carried out by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, it is all too easy to pick a telephone up and call somebody when your equipment fails, it is your responsibility to make sure that they are qualified to carry out the work safely.
Ask to see the registration card and verify it is correct by going to the gas safe website www.gassaferegister.co.uk and putting the information in listed on the card.
Only Gas Safe Registered Enginners are LEGAL
Many companies continue to use service personel who they have used for years, it is essential that you check that the companies are gas safe registered as this is a legal requirement from April 2009.
